Served apprenticeship with WR Phillips Ltd in New Plymouth. Worked on Chrysler, Rootes Groop, David Brown, Commer vehicles plus various other makes.

Dynomometer Specialists - tuning high performance Race-Road cars.

1975

Motor Industries - trouble shooting for faults on assy line at Waitara Assy plant.

 

Nicholson McLaren Engines in United Kingdom. Building Formula One race engines including Grand Prix winners for John Watson. Plus winning engines for Dealer Team Vauxhall, March Engineering, Mallock Engineering, West Surry Racing, McLaren International, Lotus and Brabbam.

1977

 

1983

Returned to New Zealand with Froude Bench dynomometer. Began building Race Engines in New Zealand and Australia. Development work continued on Rover V8 engines for the road and races.

Engine developent on Subaru WRX, Buick V6, Chevrolet V8, Ford V8, Ford 4cyl, Triumph 4, 6 & 8 cyl, Chevrolet Cosworth Vega, Lotus Twin Cam, Chrysler engines, Leyland P76 V8, plus any other engine that needs to be inspected.
